Why Choose Me to Tutor your Child?

  • A young, inspiring tutor who will provide insightful online tutelage to your child.

  • A young Oxford undergraduate who specialises in the humanities, classics and literature who can take your child’s exam performance to the next level.

  • A high-level musician who will make sure your child’s music practice is effective and productive.

  • A high-achiever who will ensure your child works effectively and productively

Mr. Christopher Tolman (House Master of The Grove, Harrow School)

His ability to work industriously and independently...

He should look back on his... studies as a period of extraordinarily fruitful intellectual endeavour...

He has demonstrated immense all-round ability and displayed an exemplary attitude...

Nothing short of prolific in the production and delivery of lectures.

Dr. David Finnegan (Master of History and Head of Careers, Harrow School)

…Working hard independently and producing excellent essays in lessons. I always enjoy reading Joseph's essays, seeing how he develops his argument and the precise contextual details he includes so effectively.

Mrs. Lucy Ashe (Head of English, Harrow School)

He impressed me enormously with his excellent work ethic... Joseph was a pleasure to teach, not least because of his excellent personality, but also because of his interest in the subject.

Frances Preston. Owner, founder of Village Global education, Globe-Ed, Mentor-Ed and Parent-Ed

Infectious. I challenge the most tardy student to not have him rub off. There is no doubt that his passion and drive will both support and inspire your child.

Ms. Cordelia Monsey, (Academic Tutor and Theatre Director)

Joseph is thoughtful, methodical and sensitive. He will prove an excellent tutor, inspiring and considerate.

Mr. Neil Crossley (Head of Woodwind, Dame Alice Owens' School)

His specialist subject knowledge, coupled with his friendly manner means he can instill a love of learning in the young people he works with. Joseph is a talented, multi-skilled musician with an... attention to detail, versatility and sense of humour.

Learning in the Right Way

The most important aspect of learning is not simply memorising a list of facts and recounting it robotically, but truly understanding the nature of what one is studying. A good work ethic, determination and self-confidence are what can drive a pupil to greater heights than they could normally achieve. However, this is also reliant upon a good mentor or teacher. As the manifestation of this, I can offer a well-balanced, insightful and interesting tutoring experience to any child working towards Common Entrance, (I)GCSE, A-Level or ABRSM examinations. Revision, practice and intensive study may seem dull and slow-going, however if approached in a creative and effective way they can be so rewarding.

Through this I can ensure that your child will approach work in an effective and productive way as well as making sure that their exam performance goes beyond school expectation. Read more here.
